OUR PROCESS

Where your ideas come to life

Your vision, Our expertise

This exciting stage is the first opportunity for us to bring your ideas to life visually. We’ll help you navigate the vast array of creative decisions, materials and suppliers available to you. From internal layouts and lighting plans to hard finishes and furniture, your assigned designer will help you curate a coherent, functional design that will feel as good in reality as it looks on the page.

DESIGN FAQ’S

Immediate questions answered

  • Our fixed design fee is calculated based on the required scope of work, your chosen specifications and the scale of the project. This fee doesn't include project management, installation or the interior budget required for purchasing.

  • The design process can be as collaborative or as hands-off as you wish. We are designing your or your client's home, so we will never enforce our own preferred design or specification over yours. That said, we’ll use our expertise with discretion, pushing back if we believe you’re making a decision that will have a detrimental effect.

  • The design process can take anywhere from 6 weeks for FF&E-type projects and up to 12 weeks for full renovation projects. This timeline is also subject to your availability and speed of decision-making.

Joinery FAQ’s

Immediate questions answered

  • Solid wood is more durable in the long term, but much more expensive.

  • There are two main differences in relation to colour and door design. Pre-finished decor panels come in a wide range of colours, textures and finishes. A spray-painted finish allows greater flexibility when considering door design — the options are limitless with this finish. A spray-painted finish is required for the classic shaker, panelled door designs and those with glass, mirror or rattan elements.

THE DETAILS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL AT HOME

Interior styling

As part of the final steps before completing a project, our experienced interior stylists inject authenticity, personality and memorability into a space. This brings your design and furnishings to life, whether you’re trying to maximise your sale value or simply make your new space feel like home.

Through a collaborative process, our stylists consult with you and your lead designer to form a styling concept that considers the existing design scheme, your taste, lifestyle, budget and lead time. From artwork to soft furnishings, our signature services ensure the right pieces are selected for a finish you’ll love to live in as much as to look at.

We believe styling makes an interior come alive and elevates a project by showcasing a design to it’s fullest. We see it less as the ‘finishing touches’ and more as the important final layer to add depth and character to an already beautiful design.

INTERIOR STYLING FAQ’S

Immediate questions answered

  • An interior stylist works to create visually appealing yet functional spaces for clients. The process involves selecting and arranging furniture, accessories and decor to enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of a space. The goal of an interior stylist is to create a cohesive and harmonious look that reflects the client's personal style and preferences.

  • Absolutely! Part of the appeal of using a stylist is that they will help you curate your own style within a space and often that will include mixing new pieces with the client's existing accessories, artwork and furniture.

  • There is no fixed fee as each job is different, so we assess on a project-by-project basis. This depends on variables such as the size of the property and how much of the client's existing homeware is to be used. We are always happy to discuss various options with our clients.

  • "They clearly love their profession and genuinely care about getting the best outcome for their clients. Their ideas & designs are beautiful and functional, a talented team!”
