Bespoke Luxury in the Heart of Nine Elms: A Stunning 3-Bed Residence
Bought as a pied-à-terre, our client got in touch to reimagine their newly purchased three-bedroom apartment. Our brief was to deliver a turnkey, beautifully considered interior that felt bespoke, reflected their personal style, and worked effortlessly with the existing finishes.
Using a mix of deep and neutral tones, tactile materials and carefully chosen statement pieces, the apartment has been transformed into a striking yet liveable home. The scheme also takes cues from our London Square Nine Elms Show Home, where luxurious and contemporary details come together to create a space that felt both refined and welcoming. Bespoke elements throughout add character and elevate the space, creating something truly special for our client.
The result is calm, understated luxury that favours comfort and quality over showiness, a style increasingly sought after by well-travelled buyers who value substance as much as style. It reflects Muchmore Design’s signature approach: internationally inspired interiors that balance elegance with everyday comfort.
“I had a wonderful experience working with the Muchmore team on the design of my apartment in Nine Elms, London. What stood out most was the professionalism and reliability throughout the project. Communication was clear, timelines were respected, and every challenge was handled with creativity and practical solutions.
The final result is a beautiful home that feels personal, refined, and comfortable. I would highly recommend Muchmore to anyone looking for a designer who combines creativity with professionalism and genuine care for the client’s vision.”

Dining Area
The dining area was a real focus for our client and sits at the heart of the open-plan living space. Tucked beside the kitchen, the alcove offered the perfect opportunity to create a warm, inviting spot for the family to gather.
We designed a bespoke fitted banquette bench to anchor the space. Crafted from hardwood beech, the bench is made up of separate back, seat and plinth sections, carefully designed to slot neatly into the recessed alcove and navigate a tight access point. The plinth is finished in liquid antique brass, while the seat and back feature moulded foam wrapped around a softly curved, fluted frame for comfort and visual interest.
Paired with the banquette is a custom dining table with a sepia powder-coated folded metal base, bringing a sculptural edge to the scheme. A bronze-tinted toughened glass top subtly reveals the base beneath, adding depth and drama.
Finishing the space is the statement Khai Pendant. With intersecting bronze arms and hand-blown smoked glass shades, it anchors the dining area and adds a layer of contemporary elegance with an organic, timeless feel.

Living Area
The open-plan living area feels calm, refined and effortlessly welcoming. Building on the understated elegance seen throughout the home, the scheme combines sculptural forms, earthy tones, tactile finishes and natural materials.
Soft curves run through the furniture selection, from the rounded bouclé chair to the coffee table and TV unit, gently offsetting the apartment’s more angular architecture.
The real show stopper is the bespoke wall-hung TV unit. Its curved front and warm wood grain are balanced with brass shelving, giving the piece a strong sense of craftsmanship and individuality. Acting as both practical storage and a sculptural focal point, this one-of-a-kind design brings depth and character to the open-plan space.
Completing the room is an occasional table with a thick crystal top and an antiqued bronze base in hammered steel, adding a subtle note of drama and a quietly luxurious finish.

Master Bedroom
We wanted to create a calm, hotel-like sanctuary for the master suite, using textures and soft neutrals. Injecting soft linens, natural timber, reflective mirrors, and subtle metallics help bring a sophisticated yet approachable glamour to the suite. Every detail was chosen to maximise comfort, functionality, and let the stunning Nine Elms views take centre stage.
The room’s irregular shape called for careful planning to ensure it felt open and effortless. At its heart, a custom headboard with integrated wall panelling and antique mirrors adding depth and visual interest, giving the bed a backdrop that’s classic yet contemporary. Paired with RV Astley white bedside tables with brass pulls, the sleeping area feels light, balanced, and refined.
A bespoke dressing area in light natural oak blends style with practicality. An organically shaped brass-framed mirror and a textured bouclé stool create a standout feature, offering a comfortable spot for our client to prepare for the day.
Bespoke Headboard

Second Bedroom
The guest bedroom is calm, polished, and quietly luxurious. The design centres on a full-height upholstered headboard wall, wrapped in soft textured yarn and detailed with slim walnut trims. Framing the bed beautifully, it adds subtle structure and drama, while Marset Roc sculptural wall lights, turns the headboard into a striking architectural feature.
Layered neutrals like ivory, taupe, and wood set a relaxed base, while styling items like a dusty terracotta runner and crisp white bedding keep the room fresh. Textured cushions and layered textiles add softness, and abstract artwork with carefully styled bedside accessories complete the look. The overall effect is a considered, comfortable guest bedroom: modern, timeless, and ready to move straight into for our client.

Twin Guest Bedroom
This twin guest bedroom builds on the design language of the first two bedrooms while adapting to different functional needs, keeping the home’s style cohesive. Soft curves, and pattern make the room versatile - perfect for visiting family, children, or guests.
We proposed a bespoke upholstered twin headboard in soft linen-textured fabric, which was gently rounded off to give the room softness. Between the bed is a vertical panel in subtle leopard-print for a playful touch. The organic-shaped feature wall light in natural stone brings sculptural interest and finishes off this custom piece. We also designed floor-to-ceiling wardrobes to provide practical additional storage.
By extending bespoke elements beyond the master suite, every bedroom is treated with the same care resulting in a twin guest bedroom that feels far more thoughtful than a typical guest room.
